Mark Goetsch has spent his 20+ years architecting technical change within and across organizations. His clients were large and medium US and multinational corporations including ABN AMRO Bank, Northern Trust Bank, BMO Harris Bank, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Il, TX, NM, OK, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, and Wheels, Inc. He also developed commercial software products including Ibbotson’s Cost of Capital Quarterly and Beta Book and Derivative Solution’s Fixed Income Solutions.
Mark has contributed to the professionalization of enterprise architecture as a former board member for the Federation of Enterprise Architecture Professional Organizations, EVP for the Center for the Advancement of the Enterprise Architecture Profession, President of the Business Architects Association, and founding member of the World-Wide Institute of Software Architects. Mark has spoken at SDWest in Silicon Valley, Midwest Software Engineering Conference in Chicago, and various other seminars.
Mark taught 30 graduate courses in e-commerce, supply chain management, enterprise architecture, and distributed systems. He is finishing his Doctor in Business Administration from DePaul University, has his MSC in Systems Strategy and Management from Northwestern University, MS in Computer Science from DePaul University, and his BA in History from Spring Hill College.
